PUSH
If
Gamewright did not get their poker size card game “Hi Lo Flip” right, then
Ravensburger got it right here. PUSH is not the first Ravensburger game I got
in my collection. Back in 2019, I have already bought their Labyrinth board
game to play with my son. He was still 5 back then. But PUSH is my first card
game from the same publisher.
I
bought this game is because of its high ratings in Board Game Geek. The cards
are in poker size and made by plastic. The graphics are beautiful. Instead of
paper box, this game came with a plastic case. So, it looks very distinguish
from those American card games. And also, to add some randomness to the game,
PUSH came with a very colourful
specially made die.
The
deck consists of 5 suits, red, orange, green, blue & purple, and a bunch of
functional cards. The sides of the die also match the suit colours, with the
sixth side being the lucky side.
PUSH,
as its name already told you, is a push your luck game. There are no hand
cards. So cards in poker size are just right. Game play is easy and fast going.
It requires a bit of luck and also some skills. My kids just like it. Compare
to Mattel’s, PUSH is selling at a much higher price. But I highly recommend adding
this to your collection.
